This was the original vision of the car, the Countach LP400. Chosen because at the time the simpler body would make for a simpler mold.

The "getting screwed from friends and work" plan

 Eddie Brown. That was the name of the supposed "friend" I had back in the day who did me wrong with the CD. On a more recent note, I've just had to tell a "good" friend to go take a hike. This person I won't out, because he needs to get his life in order, but in general I was just done with the constant alcoholism, asking for money, and constant re-visiting of old work topics that nobody can do anything about now. It was just... constant and it wore me down. The funny part is that despite me telling him "You do not contact me" guess what the guy does? Repeatedly? I don't know where I meet such individuals. 2021 Progress

2021 was a hit and miss year for me. I tried many times to re-start this project but for one reason or another, I just could not muster up the motivation to keep going at it. I put the new body on the car adnd found myself chopping up the frame to make it fit properly - too much chopping. I bought a new engine which is still brand new and un-tested, and new exhaust parts, and chopped the frame further to make those fit before giving up. I tried selling it twice and each time I could not sell due to the low ball offers I kept getting. I was still nostalgic for the thing after all, but I could not stand the condition it was in after all this time. So, I was stuck in a place where I did not want to work on it, and I did not want to sell it. The kids did not want me to sell it. Fabrication Work June 2022

So far June and July have been extremely productive months for the car project. There were times when I couldn't stop to take pictures because I was too caught up in the momentum of building! I started the month by removing the engine and transmission from the old chassis and setting them aside. I then mocked up the fake engine with the appropriate mounts and welded it to the new chassis, and then bolted on the transmission. Next, I added the headers to allow for visualization of the drive train. It took a few days to measure and place the engine but the end result was worth it. I also took the body off the old frame and dragged it out to the driveway. The next task was to begin on the steering system and starting to get the ergonomics correct. So for this, I needed to order proper seats. I bought replica Countach seats from ebay and was super happy when they arrived as they were very nice quality and allowed me to continue!
